Meet Amber – the author behind all things Mindful Mama.

I’m a mama + military spouse (Navy) + Registered Nurse + yoga teacher + writer (poet) + runner. I’m an introvert and enneagram 9 if you’re into those types of things. I love cappuccinos, beach walks, and a good book.

Mindful Mama is the name of my game. I want to be fully present to my son as he grows. This was all born when I was 36 weeks pregnant and I was trying to keep myself busy in those last agonizing weeks of pregnancy. It started with a meditation podcast, created as a tool for mamas to find a moment of calm in the chaos.

I believe life is messy and the best moments are oftentimes the messiest. Military life throws many challenges at us. I’ve found solace in yoga and writing.
